Sam Waterston in Russia

So this is a little random, but apparently my Russian professor was actually Sam's personal interpreter when he went to Russia sometime in the 90's (okay, really random). I've known this since last semester, but today in class she was talking about  differences between Russia and America, and then started telling us about  Sam riding the Moscow metro and being the first American some other random Russian metro-rider had met and rude waiters and such and I was just like OMG. SAM STORIES. по-русский.

ANYWAY. That's actually all I really had to say. It was just a wonderful moment.
